A little bit about the Bairnecessities team
Helen Feeney
My name is Helen Feeney and I'm the chairperson and founder of Bairnecessities.
I'm a mum to two little monkeys and work as a community nursery nurse alongside the health visitors. It is through my job that I realised just how many families are struggling locally and so I set up Bairnecessities to try and help.
Jane Smith
I'm Jane Smith, full-time mummy to two little children and treasurer for Bairnecessities. I really enjoy helping Bairnecessities and believe they are a very worthwhile cause to support.
Rebecca Cassie
I’m Rebecca Cassie, secretary for Baby Bank Bairnecessities. I’m a mum to Charlie & Iona, staff nurse and friend to many. In my spare time I like to read, walk and spend quality time with family and friends.
Alison Mutch
I'm Alison and I'm in charge of fundraising for Bairnecessities. I have been married for 16 years and have one daughter who is nearly 5 and will start school this August. I am a cook in a care home, a job I enjoy and have done for many years. We have a small dog and enjoy holidays in our caravan.
This is just a small number of our committed volunteer team who help us support so many families.
The team also includes many dedicated volunteers, mostly mums on maternity leave and with pre-school aged children, putting in the hours to help ensure no family goes without.
